Strange Interlude: Strange Interlude Strikes Back!

"I wonder what all the commotion is?" AJ asked his lover softly, as he cuddled up against him. He reached over and grabbed his lover's still partially erect member and started massaging it softly, grinning evilly at the contented sigh he heard.

"Don't know, Babe. Sounds like Kevvy Kev and Kaos." His lover managed to get the words out with some difficulty, gritting his teeth in order to keep his moans from escaping.

"I know that, Hon.," AJ replied with a hint of exasperation. "I was wondering what they were talking about."

Nick's and Kevin's discussion had not been loud enough to carry to the two of them in bed. With the exception of a loud laugh, which AJ had recognised as Nick's, most of the other sounds were too subdued to make out clearly. Still, it seemed odd that Kevin and Nick had chosen to have a conversation right outside his hotel room...

"Ungh," breathed his lover, momentarily losing all cohesive thought as AJ's hand expertly worked him into a frenzy. "Who knows? Who the fuck cares!"

AJ's grin grew as he slowly increased the pace of his stroking. Looking down at the luscious lips of his lover, he knew he couldn't resist any longer. He took his lover's suggestion to heart and forgot all about Kevin and Nick.

"Oh God, you're so beautiful," he whispered as he leant forward to kiss those sweet, full lips.

They wrestled for what seemed like hours, their tongues exploring every inch of the other's mouth. The sweet taste of their previously spent seed adding to their excitement. Finally, when he couldn't take it any longer, AJ came up for air.

"How did I get so lucky to find you, Brian?"

Brian's smouldering eyes twinkled as a smile came to his lips. "I don't know, Babe. But I thank my lucky stars that you did! Now, come back down here, Bone!" He reached up and pulled AJ back down into a lip-lock that had them both reeling.

Over the next hour the world simply disappeared as they explored the depths of their love for each other.

Brian carefully opened the door and poked his head out into the hallway. It was clear. He quickly raced across to his suite and let himself in. Whew! He'd made it without being spotted. Chalk up another success in evading their colleagues' attention!

The thrill of keeping their relationship a secret from Kevin, Howie and Nick had not dimmed, even though it was almost three years since they'd started seeing each other. The only downside of keeping it a secret was that they couldn't give proper voice to their feelings and emotions at the height of their lovemaking...

He dropped down onto his bed fully clothed, feeling both exhausted and exhilarated. After several minutes of tossing and turning he got back up. He was too keyed up to sleep just yet.

I know, he thought. I'll just finish up the next chapter of my story. And I've got some great stuff to add to the chapter now! He smiled hugely as he sat down, booted up his laptop, brought up his half-finished story and started tapping away with the image of his and AJ's lovemaking planted firmly in the front of his mind.

Well, here goes, he thought a short time later, keying in 'nifty@gaycafe.com' in the To: field and sending the message off. Hmm, while I'm online, I might as well check out some of the other stories. I wonder if any of my favourites have been updated?

AJ's eyes widened as he looked down the list of new stories. Wow, there're so many updates! he thought, paging down and instantly earmarking several of his favourites for later download.

A particular story caught his eye and he grinned happily to see that it had been updated recently. Oh man, can't wait to read that one. It was one of his favourites. It was about them, of course, but the author had managed to capture his character so perfectly that he could've sworn that the author knew him personally.

He saw that another of his favourites had been updated, and grinned as he recalled the outlandish plot in it. Not that it wasn't any good, but it was completely off-base. They didn't get on as well with 'N Sync as that story made out. ...Or that many of the other stories made out.

He couldn't help but wonder if his own story would be accepted by the archivist? He had only submitted it the day before and it was his first attempt at a story - though he had been lurking in the Archive for years. To say that he was nervous was an understatement. Mind you, after tonight's hot and steamy session, he was overflowing with ideas to include in the next few parts of his story!

Hmm, he wondered suddenly, Maybe I should tell Rok about this place. He'll probably get a kick out of it; especially the Boy Bands section. He features in so many of the stories.

He pulled up his alternate mail client, with the email address his colleagues didn't know about, and was surprised to see that a new message was waiting for him. He opened it and couldn't help smiling as he read the message from the 'Nifty Archivist': I have added this story to the boy-bands section of the Archive. David.

Cool! he thought. What a pity I can't tell the others about this...

Though he would have loved to show his story to Brian, he wasn't sure how Brian would react to it. It was safer for him, and their relationship, to just tell Brian about the Archive and nothing more. If Brian ended up liking what he read up there, then he would reconsider showing Brian his story.

With that sorted out, he started opening the new stories in separate browser windows and settled down to read them...

The next night, after another exhausting performance, four members of the Backstreet Boys clicked on a brand new story in the Archive...

Notes: Thanks go out to Michael Ellis (author of Studio in the Country) for selecting me to write the sequel to his excellent Strange Interlude. :) And many thanks (from me personally, Mike) for writing the original.
Folks, this story does not tie-in with any other story in the archive, especially Kevin & Justin (my story) or Mike's Studio in the Country (regardless of the Title in the titlebar when reading part 1). And of course, neither of these stories are the ones mentioned above (i.e. the ones that AJ is reading), so you'll have to keep guessing.
As for a part 3, I'll be considering a suitable author to pass the baton on to (I just hope my volunteer accepts!) Mike and I would like to see this continue, as a fun story if possible, and we'd like each chapter/part to be written by a new author - who is nominated by the previous one. I hope that makes sense? Anyway, I hope you enjoyed part 2 of Strange Interlude.
